ABU DHABI, October 8, 2026: Omakase introduces Agent Kit, a new add-on for Omakase Framer templates, designed to help customers extend their websites with AI agents while keeping new pages consistent with the original design.
AI can generate website pages quickly. But generating a page is not the same as generating a page that feels like it belongs to the template you already have.
A customer may buy an Omakase template, launch the original pages, and later use AI to create a pricing page, case study, or new landing page. Without enough context, the AI may make different decisions about typography, spacing, layouts, components, or visual hierarchy. The result may work technically while still feeling disconnected from the rest of the website.
Agent Kit is designed to reduce that drift.
Each Kit gives AI more context about how an Omakase template is meant to behave, including the design rules behind it, the pages or components it should use as references, important exceptions, and instructions for how it should validate its work.
“The goal is simple: customers should be able to keep building with AI without having to redesign the website every time they need something new,” said Jay Rao, Founder of Omakase.
Why AI-generated pages drift from the original template
An AI agent can generate a new page from a prompt, but it does not automatically know how an existing template makes its design decisions.
It may not know which page should be used as the closest reference, which components are canonical, which spacing patterns are intentional, or where the design deliberately breaks its own rules.
That missing context becomes more important as customers use AI to extend websites long after the original template has been purchased.
Framer now supports external AI agents such as Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor working directly with Framer projects. As these workflows become more common, templates need to give agents better context about the systems they are being asked to extend.
From static templates to agent-ready Framer templates
An agent-ready Framer template ships with the instructions and context an AI agent needs to extend it, alongside the pages a customer launches with.
Agent Kit is Omakase’s first step toward making every one of its templates agent-ready.
Omakase began by making Framer templates because a strong template made it faster and cheaper to launch a website. That still matters. But as AI makes new pages easier to generate, consistency, context, and design judgment become more valuable.
“The way people build websites has changed, so the role of a template has to change too,” said Ify, Designer at Omakase.
What’s inside an Omakase Agent Kit, and how it differs from a DESIGN.md
Every Omakase Agent Kit includes a DESIGN.md file, plus the references, exceptions, working instructions, and validation context that are specific to extending the template.
DESIGN.md is an open format, popularised by Google Stitch, that describes design-system rules in plain text for AI tools. It can give an agent a clear understanding of typography, colour, spacing, and other system-level rules.
But extending an existing template also requires more specific context.
An agent may need to know which existing page should be treated as the closest reference for a new pricing page, which components are considered the source of truth, or where the template intentionally breaks its general design rules.
Each Agent Kit includes:
Design rules: The template’s type, colour, spacing, and layout rules, written as a DESIGN.md.
Canonical references: The pages and components the agent should treat as the source of truth.
Exceptions: The places where the template intentionally breaks its own rules, so the agent does not “correct” them.
Agent protocol: Instructions for how the agent should work with the template and validate its output.
Guidebook and walkthrough video: A written guide showing customers how to set up and use the Kit, supported by a walkthrough video.
Framer Agent Kit and Figma Agent Kit
Omakase offers two kinds of Agent Kit.
A Framer Agent Kit helps AI extend the Framer template itself.
A Figma Agent Kit helps AI-assisted workflows extend the matching Figma source file, so new designs remain consistent with the existing Figma system.
The Figma file is an optional add-on to an Omakase Framer template and is not sold on its own. Customers only need a Figma Agent Kit when their package includes the Figma file.
Availability and pricing
Omakase Agent Kit is available today for Mindly, Solwell, and Ampcore, at a flat $20 per Kit on top of the existing template package.
Template prices do not change, and more of the Omakase catalogue will receive Agent Kits over time.
Package | Price |
|---|---|
Framer template only | Existing template price |
Framer template + Framer Agent Kit | Existing template price + $20 |
Standard licence + Figma file + both Agent Kits | Existing template price + Figma price + $40 |
Extended licence + Figma file + both Agent Kits | Existing template price with extended + Figma price + $40 |
The +$40 packages include two Kits: a Framer Agent Kit and a Figma Agent Kit, at $20 each. Customers who already own Mindly, Solwell, or Ampcore can buy an Agent Kit on its own without repurchasing the template.
Which AI tools Agent Kit works with
Omakase has tested Agent Kit with Claude Code, Codex, and Figma AI.
The Kit is built from portable documentation and instructions, so it is designed to move between AI tools.
The workflow is the same in each:
Buy an Omakase template with an Agent Kit, or add a Kit to a template you already own.
Open the Kit and follow the included guide.
Give the Kit to your AI agent.
Ask the agent to create or extend a page.
Review the result against the original template, then publish.
FAQ
What is Omakase Agent Kit?
Omakase Agent Kit is a $20 add-on for eligible Omakase Framer templates that gives AI tools the design context they need to build new pages that stay consistent with the original template. It is a guidance layer that an AI tool reads before it builds. It is not an AI model or website builder.
Is Agent Kit just a DESIGN.md file?
No. Every Agent Kit includes a DESIGN.md, plus canonical page and component references, documented design exceptions, an agent protocol for how the AI should work and validate its output, and a walkthrough for the customer.
How much does Agent Kit cost?
Each Agent Kit costs $20. A package with both the Framer template and the Figma file includes two Kits for $40. The template prices themselves do not change.
Which Omakase templates support Agent Kit?
Mindly, Solwell, and Ampcore all have an Agent Kit. Omakase plans to add Agent Kits across the rest of its catalogue.
Which AI tools does Agent Kit work with?
Omakase has tested Agent Kit with Claude Code, Codex, and Figma AI. Setup varies slightly by tool, and the included guide covers each step.
Can I add Agent Kit to a template I already own?
Yes. Owners of Mindly, Solwell, or Ampcore can buy an Agent Kit on its own without repurchasing the template.
